Transportation and Innovation Expo held at Alliant Energy Center

MADISON, Wis. — An event billed as Wisconsin’s largest sustainable transportation conference and expo took place Thursday at the Alliant Energy Center.

The Transportation and Innovation Expo featured multiple breakout sessions with some of the industry’s top leaders presenting on sustainable transportation choices. Topics ranged from incorporating electric vehicles and alternative fuel options into fleets to state and federal programs and sustainable choices for non-road equipment.

“We’re a fuel-neutral organization, so we support all of the alternative fuels so we have a lot of great project partners that are working in all aspects in the diversification of fuels throughout the state,” Wisconsin Clean Cities’ executive director Lorrie Lisek said.

Attendees also got the chance to get behind the wheel of a variety of alternative fuel and electric vehicles during a ride and drive portion of the event.
