Trailer park community without water for 3 days
15 homes without water after water main break Tuesday
LAKE MILLS, Wis. — The residents of about 15 homes in a mobile home community in Lake Mills are upset after a water main break cut their water source three days ago.
The residents said the manager of the park isn’t doing enough to get it fixed.
Christopher Baron, one of the residents, said he woke up Tuesday morning to a trickle of water and found out the water main broke overnight. But he said that information came from residents, not park management.
He said a repair company showed up Wednesday, drained the water and left, but didn’t return.
“We’ve been buying bottled water, jugs of water, going out to eat, and luckily, we can clean up at work,” Baron said.
He said he asked park management for contact information for the repair company, and they told him they are handling it.
“We weren’t getting any help. They said, ‘You can’t contact the company that’s doing the repairs because we contact them only,'” Baron said.
Baron said he’s hearing the park may be without water through the weekend.
Lakeland Mobile Home Community management declined to comment Thursday.
