Tonita Marie Worden

TONITA “TONI” M. WORDEN, age 79 of Lake Mills formerly of Jefferson passed away on Wednesday January 25.2017surrounded by her family at the University Hospital in Madison.

She was born on August 8, 1937 in Prairie du Chien, daughter of Leon and Leone (Chamberlain) Dickhut.
She married Allen M. Worden on September 30, 1961 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Watertown.
Toni worked as an Accounting Clerk for WIS Pac, Hamlin, Lake Mills School District and Lake Mills Medical Center. She also drove bus for Jefferson County Head Start.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid, also the Lake Mills Legion Auxiliary.
Toni loved to attend all of her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events, and she enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

She will be deeply missed by her family; Husband Allen M. Worden of Lake Mills.
Children Teresa (Rob) Freeman of Fort Atkinson, Michael (Susan) Worden of Fort Atkinson,
Julie (William) Kiessling of Lake Mills, Aaron “Boomer” (Kris) Worden of Green Bay.
Grandchildren; Scott Jilek, Randy (Lindsay) Jilek, Angela (Jason) Butzine, Andrew (Tiffany) Worden,
Allen T. Worden, Emily Kiessling, McKala Kiessling, Samantha Worden, Connor Worden, Kelly (Mike) Crandall, Casey(Laura)Freeman, Abby(Zac)Petitt.

8 Great Grandchildren. Sisters; Charlotte (David) Goers-Nevin of Jefferson,

Cheryl (Jeff) Higgins of Jefferson, Deloris (James) Robertson of Lancaster PA, other nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday January 30, 2017 at St. John’s Lutheran Chruch in Jefferson with the Rev. Joshua Martin officiating, burial will follow in the Union Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home.
And then again on Monday morning at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.

She is preceded in death by her parents Leon and Leone Dickhut.

Those wishing to give a memorial in Toni’s name may direct them to St. John’s Ladies Aid or to the St. John’s Tuition Scholarship fund.
