Tonette Walker released from hospital
Gov's wife had emergency appendectomy
MADISON, Wis. — Gov. Scott Walker’s wife Tonette has been released from the hospital following an appendectomy.
Walker spokeswoman Julia Lund said that Tonette Walker was released from the hospital Thursday and is resting at home. She had the surgery on Wednesday after being admitted the night before with stomach pains.
Walker canceled his plans on Wednesday to be with her in the hospital.
