Tomah police investigate woman’s death
Police: Cause of death could not be determined
TOMAH, Wis. — Tomah police are investigating the death of a 23-year-old woman.
Police responded to a call of a deceased person who had been located at a residence on the 200 block of Hollister Avenue in the City of Tomah on Sunday at about 3:20 p.m.
Tomah police said after an initial investigation, the cause of death could not be determined. The State of Wisconsin Mobile Crime Laboratory was called to assist at the scene. The name of the woman has not been released at this time.
The Monroe County Medical Examiner has ordered an autopsy by performed. It is scheduled to be conducted on October 6.
“At this time is no reason to believe that members of our community are in danger,” Tomah police said in a news release.
