TJ Edwards named first team All-Big Ten
Badger linebacker honored again
MADISON — Wisconsin Badgers linebacker T.J. Edwards was named first team All-Big Ten for the second year in a row.
Edwards was a first team selection by the media voters and second team by the coaches.
Edwards was sixth in the Big Ten in tackles with 104 in the 2018 season.
Linebackers Ryan Connelly and Andrew Van Ginkel and safety D’Cota Dixon were third team picks by the coaches with Dixon being a third team pick of the media as well.
Michigan’s Devin Bush was named the conference’s Defensive Player of the Year, Iowa’s Amani Hooker the Defensive Back of the Year and Michigan State’s Kenny Willekes, the Defensive Lineman of the Year.
Northwestern’s Pat Fitzgerald was the unanimous choice for Big Ten Football Coach of the Year.
