Thomas Donnelly, age 79 of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin died Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the University Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Wisconsin Dells with Father Michael Richel and Father James Murphy concelebrating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Wisconsin Dells. Visitation will be held at the Picha Funeral Home in Lake Delton, Wisconsin on Monday, July 16, 2012 from 4 to 8 P.M. with a Scripture Service held at 7:30 P.M. and on Tuesday at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service at 10:30 A.M.
Thomas was born October 26, 1932 in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin the son of James and Bernice (Morgan) Donnelly. He married Beverly Witt in October of 1959 in Wisconsin Dells. He grew up on a farm, worked for 10 years on the Milwaukee Road railroad, next worked at Playman’s Standard service station, and lastly owned and operated a ceramic shop with his wife near his home called Country Ceramics. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Thomas is survived by a son, Richard (Diane) of Wisconsin Dells; daughters, Janet (Randy Karverg) Feih of Wisconsin Rapids and Joyce Donnelly of Wisconsin Dells; grandchildren, Lisa (Jason) Cupp, Dustin Zastava, Michelle, Richard and Nicole Feih and Heather (Chris) Hohmann; 8 great grandchildren; brothers, Don (Joan) of Wisconsin Dells and Michael (Barbara) of San Jose, California and sisters, Patricia (Paul) Schoenherr of Columbus, Wisconsin, Mary (Robert) Platt-McClyman and Katie (Gordon) Platt of Wisconsin Dells, Betty Donnelly of Madison, Wisconsin, Irene (Butch) Golliher of Windsor, Wisconsin and Sara Aguiniga of Lake Delton, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Julie Zastava and a son in law, David Feih.
