Cam Maly had three touchdowns for the Cardinals.
Meanwhile, Janesville Craig stayed tied with Middleton following their 23-19 victory over Madison Memorial. Craig and Middleton are now 6-1 with two games to play. The two teams play each other on Oct. 17 at Breitenbach Stadium in Middleton.
Sun Prairie and Madison La Follette are one game behind in second place at 5-2. Sun Prairie beat Janesville Parks 45-16 Thursday night. Madison West and Verona both remain playoff eligible at 4-3.
The Big Eight played all their games Thursday night this week in order to not conflict with Yom Kippur.
