Terrance E. Lenox
Terrance E. “Pete” Lenox, age 70, of Janesville died on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Wm. S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison. He was born on December 9, 1941 in Richland Center, WI, the youngest of six children and the only son of the late Earl J. and Chloe E. (Young) Lenox. Pete graduated from Evansville High School in 1959 and proudly served in the US Army from 1960 until he was honorbly discharged in 1963. Over the years, Pete has lived in New York, Green Bay and Janesville. He has previously worked for General Motors in Janesville and Chrysler in Belvidere, while also working as a computer programmer for many years. Pete was a very intelligent person with high expectations, who was also very friendly, witty and at sometimes sarcastic. He was an avid sports fan, who enjoyed the Packers, Brewers and long walks with his dog Max.
He is survived by his very close friend of over 19 years: Shirley Traxler of Janesville; his sisters: Vivian Eagan of Prairie du Chien, WI, Margie Bock of Denver, CO, Donna Halverson of LaCrosse, WI, Jackie Cremin of Janesville and Sharon (Steve) Maloney of Black River, NY. Following Pete’s wish, no services will be held.
