The Madison Police Department said a 36-year-old pulled over on Douglas Trail at 7 a.m. to address a vehicle noise when a gray Chevrolet Suburban pulled up with two men inside.

The men in the Suburban demanded the 36-year-old’s wallet. Police said one of the robbers implied he had a gun but it was never displayed.

The 36-year-old turned over his wallet and the robbers drove away, according to the report.

The other robber was described as black, 17-18 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall with a stocky build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and colored jeans.
