Teens arrested after convenience store robbery
Police: Teens found with cash, cigarettes
BEAVER DAM, Wis. — Two teenagers were arrested after the robbery of a convenience store in Beaver Dam on Tuesday night.
Beaver Dam police were called to Casey’s General Store in the 900 block of North University Avenue at 9:46 p.m. for a report of a robbery.
Investigators said a man passed a note to the clerk demanding cash and cigarettes before running away. The man didn’t display a weapon or imply that he had one.
Police stopped a vehicle a block south of the store and arrested a 17-year-old from Columbus and 18-year-old from Fall River. Officers said the teens had cash and cigarettes believed to be related to the robbery.
