Teen with gun tucked in waistband mugs 15-year-old, MPD says
MADISON, Wis. — An armed teenager mugged a 15-year-old Sunday night, police said.
Madison police said a Madison teen told police he was robbed while walking in the 700 block of West Badger Road at 8:45 p.m.
According to the report, the robber lifted up his sweatshirt, which exposed a handgun tucked in his waistband.
The 15-year-old said the robber said, “You want me to pop this?” The robber asked the teen what he had, and the teen turned over his cellphone.
The teen told police the gunman was black, between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall with a thin build. He had a mohawk hairstyle and was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, according to the report.
