MADISON, Wis. — Police questioned an 18-year-old man Sunday night after he showed up to a hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound in his butt, according to an incident report.

Police said the teen was “less than cooperative” and declined to share details on the circumstances that caused the wound.

There were no reports of shots fired in Madison prior to the victim’s arrival at the hospital, the report said. The Madison Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit is investigating.
