Teen sentenced to 20 years in prison in Fitchburg murder
MADISON, Wis. — The teenager charged in the 2019 murder of a Verona High School student was sentenced Friday to 20 years in prison and 10 years of supervision.
In August, Myjee Sanders pled guilty to one count of first-degree intentional homicide and one county of attempted armed robbery.
Sanders was arrested and charged in connection to the 2019 murder of 17-year-old Shay Watson.
Investigators said the murder followed a dispute over drug debt.
