Teen injured in OWI crash
20-year-old driver arrested
OREGON TOWNSHIP, Wis. — An Oregon teen sustained serious injuries in an OWI crash in Oregon Township Sunday, according to the Dane County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to County Road MM south of County Road A at 11:11 p.m. for a report of a one-car crash.
Investigators said the car driven by Colton S. Reindahl, 20, of Oregon went into the ditch after he failed to negotiate a curve. The car struck a culvert and rolled over.
Arielle C. Blume, 18, of Oregon was the only passenger in the car. She was transported to University of Wisconsin Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Reindahl was arrested on suspicion of operating while intoxicated causing injury, first offense, inattentive driving, unsafe lane deviation, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both were wearing seat belts.
