Teen in possession of stolen key fobs during East Washington Avenue crash

Two of the teenagers involved in a high-speed crash in a stolen car this week are being held in juvenile detention.

Prosecutors say they both have a history of car thefts, and the third teen has been released to their parents.

Officials said one of the two being held had two other stolen key fobs on them at the time of the crash.

Police said the teens drove past a middle school at 60 mph and were driving 80 mph down East Washington Avenue before the crash.

The judge said it is difficult to imagine a more dangerous situation.
