Teen arrested after shots fired near Warner Park marsh

MADISON, Wis. — Madison police arrested a teenager who they said shot a gun near Warner Park Saturday night.
Officers were sent to the area of Forster Drive and Alpine Road just before 8 p.m. Saturday after a caller reported seeing three juveniles walking into a nearby marsh and firing a gun multiple times.
The caller was able to point out the suspects to the officers when they arrived. Police said a 15-year-old boy was found with a gun tucked into his waistband.
The teen was arrested and taken to the Juvenile Reception Center. He faces charges of possession of a dangerous weapon for a person under 18.
