Taylor to play for Hawks in summer league
Former Badgers player decides to get earlier start
MADISON, Wis. — Former University of Wisconsin Badgers guard Jordan Taylor has decided to play for the Atlanta Hawks summer league team in Las Vegas.
Taylor had a standing offer to play for the Milwaukee Bucks summer league team, but since the Hawks begin their games three days earlier than the Bucks, Taylor figures that’ll give teams an opportunity to see him sooner and perhaps get a jump on having a team sign him to a free agent contract.
Taylor will leave for Atlanta later this week.
The Hawks’ first game in Las Vegas is July 13.
