Kaminsky, No. 5 Wisconsin beat Michigan State 68-61

   Frank Kaminsky scored 31 points in his final home game, sophomore Nigel Hayes added 14 and No. 5 Wisconsin clinched at least a share of the Big Ten regular-season title with a 68-61 victory Sunday over Michigan State.

Memorial wins 15th state championship

Saturday at the UW Natatorium, Madison Memorial put on a show at the Division One State Swim and Dive Championship. The Spartans put up a staggering 350.5 points, which was the second highest total in division one state history.

Memorial dominated the City Golf Meet Saturday at Yahara Hills. The Spartans shot a 296 team total. That was 34 strokes better than second place Edgewood.

Madison Memorial hosted the Spartan Invite Monday at Blackhawk County Club. The Spartans walked away with the team championship with a 303.
