What follows are several artifacts, photographs and documents in the possession of the state historical society that illuminate important chapters in the history of Madison.

Chris Farley's jacket, a banjo-ukulele used to create the Oscar Mayer jingle, Butch Vig's drums and an engine fragment from the Sterling Hall bombing are among the items in the Wisconsin Historical Society's possession.

Crews to put in extra hours to catch up from snowstorm

A Streets Division official said the city will resume trash and recycling collection on Monday. Crews will be working in the Monday collection districts as well as picking up material that was not collected in the Thursday and Friday's districts due to the snowstorm.
