Suspected drunken driver has 3 children in vehicle, officials say
Concerned family member calls police, driver faces 4th OWI charge
TOWN OF BURKE, Wis. — A concerned family member called police to report an intoxicated driver who drove three children to an address in the town of Burke on Monday afternoon, according to a release.
Around 4 p.m., a concerned family member called the Dane County Communication Center and reported that Jessica L. Dolsey, 32, showed up in her vehicle at 3180 Forest Oaks Drive in the town of Burke intoxicated, officials said.
The caller saw Dolsey driving the vehicle intoxicated with three children ages 1, 4 and 5 in the vehicle, deputies said.
Deputies responded to the address, and after an investigation arrested Dolsey on tentative charges of fourth-offense operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. The OWI charge along with having passengers under the age of 16 makes it a felony offense, officials said.
