Suspect in custody for armed bank robbery in Fitchburg
FITCHBURG, Wis. — The Fitchburg Police Department has arrested Quincy M. Dixon, 24, in connection with an armed bank robbery at BMO Harris Bank on Fish Hatchery Road around 11 a.m. Monday.
Dixon was taken to Dane County Jail for parole violation while police finish their investigation.
The robber passed a note demanding money. He did not display a weapon, but was believed to have one.
The robber fled on foot and ran west, according to officials. He was described as a black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and a stocking cap.
