She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and grandchildren: Zachary, Brooke, Tristan, Mackenzie, Braden, Lily, Gavin and Mia. Every morning you could see her standing on her porch waiting for Mackenzie, Braden & Lily to walk by on their way to the bus stop. It was a highlight of her day.
Susan is survived by her mother, Avila Boelter of Markesan, Wisconsin; son, Shawn of Lake Delton; daughter, Angie (Matthew) Bauman of Stevens Point, Wisconsin; brothers, Gary “Buck” (Carla) Boelter of Roxbury, Wisconsin, Jerry (Kathleen) Boelter and Randy Boelter both of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; sisters, Sally (Joe) Roschyk of West Bend, Wisconsin and Sandy (Elwin) Hull of Lynxville, Wisconsin and 8 grandchildren. Susan took pride in her job working in activities at the nursing home for over 20 years before retiring. In her spare time, she loved to go fishing and on road trips. She was a very loving person, but was never afraid to tell you how it was. In her younger days, she loved to dance, camp and sing around the campfire. Susan had a love for animals and nature. Firdie Birdie, her pet Cockatiel, was her “pretty boy” and Liger, her cat, always slept near her every night. She even bought peanuts for the squirrels.
In lieu of flowers please follow Susan’s words, “If you’re not going to bring me flowers when I’m alive, don’t bring them to me when I’m dead.” Please respect Susan’s wishes and donate to a charity or cause you are passionate about.
