Arizona State sweeps #14 Wisconsin thanks to a 3-1 win on Sunday

MADISON, Wis – Like in game 1 of their series with Arizona State, the Wisconsin men’s hockey team fell into an early hole.

The Badgers trailed 2-0 in the second until freshman forward, Sam Stange, gave them some life. Stange deflected the puck off his skate and into the back of the net for his 4th goal of the season.

But ASU would tack on another goal in the period and skate to a 3-1 win. The Badgers are back on the ice Thursday and Friday in Columbus to take on #10 Ohio State.
