Strong storm to bring snow starting Friday -Haddie

MADISON, Wis. — A strong storm will bring snow to southern Wisconsin starting Friday afternoon.

At the onset, it will be cold enough for all of the precipitation to fall as snow.

However, warmer air will move into southern Wisconsin and some of the snow may mix with freezing rain into early Saturday morning.

As of Wednesday morning, the models are showing that the heaviest snow will be across central and northern Wisconsin, but any shift in the storm track will impact snow totals in southern Wisconsin.
