Stoughton rallies to beat Oregon, 76-62
The Stoughton Vikings used a 17-3 run at the start of the second half to defeat the Oregon Panthers, 76-62 in a Badger South boys basketball game at Stoughton Tuesday night.
Oregon had a 30-27 halftime lead behind Alex Duff who scored 32 points in the game.
But Stoughton hit five three-point shots in the opening minutes of the second half to turn the game around.
Max Fernholz had a season high 17 points for the Vikings.
Stoughton moved to 6-2 in the conference, just a half-game behind co-leaders Edgewood and Monona Grove.
The Silver Eagles defeated Milton 61-37 Tuesday night in Monona.
