Stoughton man arrested on fifth offense driving while intoxicated
STOUGHTON, Wis. — The Stoughton Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 1700 block of U.S. Highway 51 Tuesday at about 9:30 p.m, officials said.
The driver showed signs of impairment, admitted to consuming an alcoholic beverage and refused field sobriety tests, according to a release from the Stoughton Police Department.
Timothy Christenson, age 67, of rural Stoughton, was arrested on fifth offense of operating a motor vehicle was transported and booked into the Dane County Jail, according to the report.
