Stoughton baseball knocks off Milton, 6-2

The Stoughton Vikings defeated Milton 6-2 in a Badger South conference baseball game in Stoughton Thursday afternoon.

Alex Zacharias had a two-run single to pace the Vikings who are now 7-1 in first place in the Badger South. Milton dropped to 4-5 in the conference.

The Red Hawks then traveled to Madison to face Edgewood at Warner Park Thursday night, and the Crusaders came away with a 3-2 win. A series of rain-outs forced a change in the Milton schedule to force the rare road doubleheader Thursday.
