Stolen Ford Explorer recovered after traffic stop, K-9 alerts to drugs in vehicle, police say
MADISON, Wis. — Dane County sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on a stolen Ford Explorer at 3801 E. Washington Ave. at 3 a.m. Wednesday, and a K-9 alerted to drugs in the vehicle.
According to a release, K-9 Freed responded to the vehicle and made a positive alert for drugs in the vehicle.
The driver, Samantha A. Pritzkow, 28, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent; several counts of bail jumping, including four felony counts; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a release said. Pritzkow also had six other valid warrants for her arrest.
The passenger, Alyssa A. Koelsch, 35, was arrested on a probation warrant and a parole warrant. Both women are being held in the Dane County Jail.
The Ford Explorer was reported stolen Sept. 9.
