Steven R. Loberger
Steven R. Loberger, 51 of Antioch, IL, formerly of Platteville, WI, died on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Holy Family Medical Center, Des Plains, IL.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 19, 2014 at The Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville. Deacon Bill Bussan will officiate. Burial will be at a later date. Friends may call from 12:00 P.M. (Noon) until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Steven R. Loberger memorial Fund.

Steve was born on April 5, 1963 in Burlington, Wisconsin, the son of Richard and Janice (Bahr) Loberger. He was a member of Platteville High School class of 1981. Steve attended UW Platteville and began his career at Loudspeaker Component in Lancaster. He then transitioned to NuWay Speaker Products in Antioch, IL as Sales Manager. During his career in loudspeaker cone manufacturing he served on the Board of ALMA International for several years.
Steve was a thrill seeker at an early age and began skydiving. He enjoyed being on the water and in the summer he would frequently be found boating with family and friends. In the winter he enjoyed tackling the snow with his snowmobile. Steve enjoyed knowing how things worked and would frequently develop hobbies around learning about how things worked. He was devoted to his family, friends and his dog Macy. Organ donation held a special place for Steve. In his passing, he donated life to others through organ and tissue donation.
Surviving are his mother Janice, brother Gregory, niece Alexis Loberger (Nick Hammel) along with aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Richard.
