VACATION IN WISCONSIN: “Vacation in Wisconsin, The state with all the cheese, the people there are friendly, grow hay and corn and peas, the sheep are in the meadow, the cows are in the corn. You’ll find lots of mosquitoes, when the weather’s warm. We have the Green Bay Packers, and lots of other sports. The breweries make some real good beer, you drink it by the quarts. And then there are the Badgers, a rousing football team. Camp Randall is where they play, the field is nice and green. In winter we have lots of snow, it makes the hillside white, and you can see the wild life play, morning, noon and night. We have a lot of gambling, and banks galore to rob. Policeman are abundant, know how to do their job. I like the many cultures, that live within our state. The land of opportunity, we really are first rate. For fishing, hunting, rafting, you can come and have some fun. Casinos are still open, when the day is done. In summer you should see the Dells, and use your water skis. Drink chocolate milk from the cows, and juice from cranberries. Bring your family to enjoy, Wisconsin with your eye. You will remember us as this, the state where eagles fly.” By Elaine Gyuricsek
