Steven Duane Steadman
JANESVILLE—Steven Duane Steadman, age 55, of Janesville, died unexpectedly Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, in Kenosha. He was born in Janesville on Oct. 26, 1957, the son of Kenneth and Patricia (Dunlavy) Steadman and was a 1976 graduate of Parker High School. Steve married Debbie Pfeiffer on April 28, 1984. He enjoyed music and had a great love of Disneyland and his family. If he could live anywhere in the US it would have been California. Steve worked at Lear Corp. for nearly 20 years until its closing. After Lear, he pursued his college career by receiving his associate degree in Medical Administrative Specialist.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Debbie; and his son, Gregory Michael of Ft. Hood, TX, who he was most proud of for his tour of duty in Afghanistan; his parents, Ken and Pat Steadman of Janesville; 3 sisters: Bonnie (Pete) Prochaska of Fitchburg, Kathy (Tony) Spigarelli of Edgerton, and Connie Steadman of Janesville; many nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Delores Pfeiffer; and his grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at MT. ZION UNITED METHODIST CHURCH with Rev. Lee Meissner officiating. Burial will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park. Visitation will take place on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of services at MT. ZION UNITED METHODIST CHURCH. The family is being assisted by the SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME and CREMATORY.
