Paul Chryst a finalist for the Dodd Trophy

Also finalist for Paul Bryant Coach of the Year

MADISON - Wisconsin Badgers head football coach Paul Chryst is one of seven finalists for the Bobby Dodd Trophy given to the nation's top coach.

Chryst has a 33-7 record in three seasons at Wisconsin including a 12-1 mark this season and a berth in the Orange Bowl against Miami December 30th.

Other Dodd finalists include Miami's Mark Richt, Northwestern's Pat Fitzgerald, UCF's Scott Frost (now at Nebraska), Stanford's David Shaw, Georgia's Kirby Smart and Clemson's Dabo Swinney.

The winner will be announced during Peach Bowl week in Atlanta the final week of December.
