Packers lose in Rodgers' return to the field

Panthers beat Packers, 31-24

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina - Aaron Rodgers' return to the field didn't come without some rust and adversity. The Packers quarterback threw 3 interceptions in the 31-24 loss to the Carolina Panthers - something he hasn't done since 2009 against Tampa Bay.

Rodgers threw for 290 yards and 3 touchdowns - including scores to Davante Adams, Randall Cobb and Richard Rodgers.

Adams left the game in the 3rd quarter with a concussion, after Carolina linebacker Thomas Davis laid out an illegal hit. This is Adams' third concussion in the last two seasons.

The Packers fall to 7-7 and are hanging on for dear life in terms of playoff hopes. If the Atlanta Falcons beat the Tampa Bay Bucks on Monday Night Football, the Packers will officially be eliminated from the postseason.
