Packers release QB Joe Callahan

Spent last two years with Green Bay

GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Packers released QB Joe Callahan Monday.  


Callahan was originally signed by Green Bay as an undrafted rookie out of Wesley College on May 6, 2016, and spent parts of the last two years on the Packers’ practice squad and roster, appearing in one game during the 2017 season.


The Packers have four quarterbacks on their roster - Aaron Rodgers, Brett Hundley, DeShone Kiser and Tim Boyle from Eastern Kentucky who was signed as an undrafted free agent over the weekend.
