RACINE, Wis. — Speaker Robin Vos worked as an election inspector at a polling place in Racine County on Election Day.

“An impressive amount of planning and organization went into ensuring everyone can safely exercise their right to vote,” Vos wrote in a Facebook post.

On Monday, Speaker Vos and Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald challenged Gov. Evers executive order calling for in-person voting to be suspended. The two said Evers didn’t have the authority to push back the date of the spring election.

The court ruled against Evers’ order, meaning Tuesday’s election would go on as scheduled.
