Snow increasingly likely Friday night into Saturday -Dana

FRI-2PME9-CR-500

MADISON, Wis. — Much like last week, our next winter system will bring snow to southern Wisconsin for Friday.

It is still a little too far out to determine exact accumulation totals. However, confidence is increasing in measurable snowfall starting Friday afternoon.

Light snow will begin in the southwest corner of Wisconsin first.

Widespread snow will continue Friday night as temperatures fall to the middle 20s.

Mixed precipitation is likely close to the Wisconsin-Illinois state line where temperatures will be warmer.

Snow will continue Saturday for much of central Wisconsin.

Any precipitation will come to an end during the day Saturday.

The First Alert Weather team will continue to monitor this system and provide updates are they come in. Stay tuned for the latest forecast information on News 3 Now.
