Skateboarder injured, robbed
Victim says he was pushed off his longboard
MADISON, Wis. — A 19-year-old Madison man told police he was pushed from behind while riding his longboard, knocked out, and robbed.
The victim said he was heading south on North Brooks Street near Fahrenbook Court around 10:30 p.m. Monday when he spotted a group of college-aged men. He said he was pushed from behind while trying to pass the group, causing him to fall, hit the pavement and lose consciousness.
When he regained consciousness, his money was missing from his wallet.
He was treated at a hospital for a chipped tooth and injuries to his face and hands.
The attacker is described as white, 20 to 25 years old, 6 feet 2 inches tall, clean cut and wearing khaki shorts and a colored shirt.
