Six teens injured in 2-vehicle crash

DEERFIELD, Wis. — Six teenage girls were injured in a crash Saturday night on Highway 12/18 near Deerfield.
The Dane County Sheriff’s Office tells News 3 the teens were in a Pontiac Vibe driving east and making a left turn into Schuster’s Playtime Farm, when the driver of the car struck a Chevrolet Corvette vehicle heading west.
Several agencies assisted in the call, which came in before 7:30 p.m. Five of the six girls in the car were taken to hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. All the passengers were 14 years old.
The Dane County Sheriff’s Office said the driver of the Vibe, Siena G. Casanova,, 17, of Madison, will likely be cited for failure to yield.
