NEW GLARUS, Wis. — Six people were injured following a three-car crash in New Glarus on Friday afternoon.

Crews responded to the crash in the N 9600 block of State Highway 69 at 3:35 p.m.

Police say Thomas C. Tullis, 69, of Monroe rear-ended the car in front of him, driven by Santos Gonzalez, 57, of Monticello, that was stopped. Gonzalez’s car then collided with a car that was stopped in front of him.

All three drivers were taken from the scene in an ambulance, as well as two passengers from Gonzalez’s car and one passenger from Tullis’ car. One of the injured passengers was a child.

Everyone involved in the crash reported wearing their seatbelt, except for Tullis. He was cited for inattentive driving and failure to wear a seatbelt.
