Shots fired at Mineral Point Road gas station, Madison police say

MADISON, Wis. — No one was injured after shots were fired Wednesday evening at a Madison gas station.

According to the Madison Police Department, it happened just before 6:30 p.m. at the Kwik Trip near the corner of Mineral Point Road and South High Point Road.

Witnesses told police people at the busy store were running, ducking and hiding from the gunfire.

Police said at least one person inside an SUV began shooting at another person outside of the vehicle.

Officers found no property damage at the scene.
