The Madison Police Department is investigating two reports of shots fired on Monday night and Tuesday morning.

Madison police said multiple 911 callers reported hearing a number of gunshots on the city’s south side. This happened near the 3100 block of Churchill Drive at 11:09 p.m. Monday, police said.

Police who responded say they found what looked like a bullet hole in a plastic bin near a residence. There were no injuries reported.

Madison police are also on scene investigating a report of seven gunshots fired near the 7200 block of Mid Town Road in Madison.

This happened around 5:41 a.m Tuesday. Witnesses told police a vehicle sped off after shots were fired. So far, no injuries have been reported.
