Sheriff’s Office hopes grant helps stop domestic violence
Money will pay for equipment, technology to aid in investigations
MADISON, Wis. — The Dane County Sheriff’s Department said they hope a $21,000 grant will help them stop domestic violence.
The grant from the Office of Justice Assistance will pay for new equipment and technology to help domestic violence investigations.
Sheriff’s officials said the county is one of the few agencies in the country with detectives specializing in domestic violence cases.
