Sheriff: Man faces felony charge after hit-and-run crash into house

A 32-year-old man faces a felony charge after allegedly hitting a house and leaving the scene early Saturday morning, Grant County officials said.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office received a report of truck what was driven through a house on Canal Street in Bloomington, according to a release.

The driver of the vehicle, Nicholas Hubanks, of Prairie du Chien fled on foot, officials said.

There were two people inside the house who suffered minor injuries, according to the release.

Hubanks was found and arrested in Crawford County around 8:30 a.m., officials said. He faces a tentative charge of felony hit-and-run causing injury.
