Sexual assault of female client reported at disabled-care facility, officials say
TOWN OF PACIFIC, Wis. — A possible sexual assault was reported at a live-in care facility for persons with disabilities Monday, according to a release from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation revealed that care worker Joel Nesler, 29, of Reedsburg, had sexually assaulted a female client in a facility in the Town of Pacific, according to officials.
“My office strives to protect all citizens, especially our most vulnerable” Columbia County Sheriff Dennis Richards said.
Nesler is currently in Columbia County Jail and is expected to appear in circuit court later this week, according to officials.
