Semi stuck on bridge guardrail closes Iowa County highway, officials say
TOWNSHIP OF CLYDE, Wis. — Highway 130 near Lone Rock was closed for more than two hours Tuesday when a semitrailer got stuck on a guardrail, according to a release.
Iowa County dispatch was notified around 3:30 p.m. of a semi that was hung up on the Lone Rock Bridge on Highway 130/133, officials said.
Mike Hoffman, 65, of Huron, was turning his semi onto the Highway 130 bridge from the Highway 130/133 intersection when his trailer sideswiped the guardrail, investigators said.
Hoffman tried to back up, but caused more damage to the guardrail, posts and a stop sign, according to the release.
The road was blocked about two and a half hours as crews removed the semi.
No one was injured in the crash, officials said.
