Semi driver injured in crash ID’d as Lake Mills man
TOWN OF FOX LAKE, Wis. — A semi driver was flown to a hospital with serious injuries after his truck rolled on its side and spilled a load of corn grain, according to a release from the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called at 6:05 p.m. Sunday to a report of a semi tractor-trailer which had rolled at the intersection of County Road AW and County Road A in the town of Fox Lake.
Investigators said the truck was southbound on County Road A and attempted a right turn onto County Road AW when it rolled on its side.
The driver, 64-year-old Thomas Mitchell, of Lake Mills, was flown Flight for Life with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Fox Lake Fire Department, Fox Lake EMS, DCERT and Flight for Life assisted at the scene.
