Second vehicle shot by pellet gun in same neighborhood
Police said incidents are likely connected
MADISON, Wis. — The firing of a pellet gun at a car in the 2300 block of Allied Drive Tuesday is likely connected to a similar incident Wednesday, according to Madison police.
A 25-year-old Fitchburg man told police he was driving in the area at about 10 a.m. Tuesday when he heard a “crack” sound followed by a “ping” sound on the roof of his car. He discovered a piece of paint missing from the roof.
A cab driver contacted police after a similar incident around 1 p.m. Wednesday in the same block. In that case, a projectile hit the victim’s fingers. He sought medical attention, but the injury was not serious.
