Schools cancel, delay classes due to impassable roads in southwest Wisconsin

A handful of schools in southwestern Wisconsin are closed or delayed Friday morning due to severe weather.

In Grant County, Boscobel is canceling classes after more than 4 inches of rain fell in the past 24 hours, leaving some roads in the area impassable and preventing school buses from navigating their routes safely. Fennimore schools will start class at 10 a.m. after rural roads in that area were affected by the weather.

Flooding has also been a concern in Crawford County, where the Wauzeka-Steuben school district is also canceling class on Friday.
