Sauk County crash sends one to hospital with life-threatening injuries
TOWN OF WESTFIELD, Wis. — A Wisconsin woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a Sauk County crash Friday night.
Sauk County deputies say an SUV was traveling southbound on Highland Road in the town of Westfield when it failed to stop at a stop sign and tried to make a right turn at the intersection of South Line Road. The vehicle overturned in a ditch, ejecting the 21-year-old driver. Deputies say she was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The 30-year-old passenger was uninjured.
Deputies say neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt. Speed is considered to be a factor.
